GUEN

Daniela Fiorilli was born in Florence in 1974 where she currently lives and works as an freelance designer. Following studies at Polimoda in Florence and at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Daniela graduated in Philosophy and Letters with costumes. Her first work experience in fashion begins right in New York, where she worked as a costume designer in the independent film scene. Having worked in the Escada Group and later for Patrizia Pepe, in 2001 she opened her own design studio providing its advice to major brands of ready-to-wear and luxury jeanswear as a designer and stylist. In 2012 comes to life Guen, a project born from the need to voice their insights and as a place where Daniela can experience her aesthetic vision. In 2013, with Guen, Daniela has been selected by Vogue Talent among the emerging designers for the paper the September issue. In 2015 Artigianal Intelligence Guen chose among the most exciting new projects for a retrospective exhibition at the Altaroma named creative crime. Today, in parallel with the Guen project, and activity is a design consultant, Daniela teaches Fashion Styling at the IED in Florence. More on www.guen.biz.
